The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Crashdiet CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Crashdiet are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

| Last time I checked in with Crashdiet was 2012's over-long Savage Playground. Martin Sweet returns in 2026 with an all-new lineup and a tight 40-minute release. Pretty good stuff here, with lots of sharp riffs and solos, and John Elliot's vocals thankfully lack the goofy quality so many of these Swedish meatballs have when doing this sleaze-rock thing. I dig most of these songs, especially "Satizfaction," "Sick Enough For Me," and "Loveblind." But here's the thing, and it's not limited just to Crashdiet, but seems to affect a great many of these bands: I just don't often get that sense of lift when the chorus rolls around. Go back to the classics that we all love and these bands try so hard to imitate, and you almost always feel that ramp up to the chorus, and back down into the next verse (sometimes vice versa). So many of these songs struggle with that, and try to get by on big gang vocals in place of a strong hook. | |
