Mmmm it seems like i´m always going to be the first to comment most of the part of the Chicago albums!... Well, this is a great piece of westcoast AOR like this band always use to release!. Beautiful songs, amazing arrangements, awesome vocals, choruses, and the ballads oh my!!. The opener "Stone Of Sisyphus" is electrizing, very powerful song and ballads like "Bigger Than Elvis" and "Let´s Take A Lifetime" are as good as their classic ballads, because these songs are full of feeling and emotion!! very recommended if you want to fall in love hehehe... regards from Yiro, a Loyal AOR Lover from Mexico

Released in 2008 after being shelved for 15 years, the record company thought this album was too drastically different from their softer 80s material. I've had this for years but only started listening to this in the last month or so. Stone of Sisyphus is a magnificent opener with great vocals and chorus from Lamm and Bailey. Bigger Than Elvis isn't my cup of tea and is a softer piano ballad of sorts. All The Years is listenable but forgettable for me. Mah-Jong has quite quite a funky rhythm but is made good by Champlin's vocals. Let's Take A Lifetime is a Scheff sung ballad and is about the closest thing to their 80s stuff as you'll find on here: it's OK. The Pull is another winner and is my second favourite. Sleeping In The Middle Of The Bed has potential but the weird almost spoken vocals really put me off. Here With Me is another decent semi-ballad. Plaid is skippable really and its hard to define what genre it is. Some other reviewers have compared this album to Toto and I get...

...the comparison but I'm not a huge fan of that band; however, there are a few songs on this one that justify the purchase and the listen (as stated, the opening title track alone is excellent and worth it alone in my opinion), just don't expect the 80s melodic Chicago.
