| I was starting to worry Bullet might not have survived all the upheaval of the last eight years. Have no fear: just like their trusty ol' VW bus, Bullet rolls on, even if Hell Hofer's voice seems even more fried than usual. Where their last album, Dust To Gold, was a little more metallic, Kickstarter leans more rock 'n' roll. Fine by me, as I find them less appealing when at their most Accept/Manowar-like. On this album, that would be "Chained By Metal"—no, please don't do that. All the rest, count me in! Special favorites include "Caught In The Action," "Keep Rollin'," "Hit The Road," "Spitfire," and "Night Falls Down." They take such obvious joy in playing this music, it's hard not to feel happy (and thirsty!) yourself.
